Roubidoux Inferno part 1.

This past weekend was marked by an extreme heat caution that was issued to southern california residents. It was about 110 in Roubidoux, Riverside. I can say it was not fun being dressed in black slacks, black shoes, shirt and tie. I accompanied my girlfriend and her family to Riverside for the wedding of one of her cousins. Why in the extreme heat-stricken month of June??? Don't know but it was too hot. I can say from the wedding that it was one I will never forget. The priest seemed to be an extreme hardcore, ultracatholic, kinda like the ones that appeared after the Protestant Reformation of the Luther era (i guess). The message that stayed more with me was that of fear and not happines and hope, something i would usually come out of mass with. But this time, it was the vociferous use of the word: Prostitution. I can't imagine what the groom might be feeling when him and his wife to be were up there, on their knees before God, freaking out! On the other hand, the priest had some good points to make, like the fact that the majority of people that attended the ceremony were family only. So the priest went on to bash the rest of the people that would later on go to the reception only. That was amusing.
